The matrix places an animal record on each axis and checks the corresponding pair data. Each cell refers to a relationship, not a general property of either species. A verified sharing outcome can be positive or negative; a missing or unverified relationship is displayed as “Coming soon — verifying.” The diagonal follows the same rule as every other cell.
The table does not infer compatibility from diet, enclosure type, geography or a shared biome. It also does not equate sharing an enclosure with breeding eligibility. Those questions have different source fields. Where a reviewed pair specifies a biome, that reference accompanies the sharing outcome instead of being synthesized from the two animal records.
Search narrows the displayed rows and columns to the names you enter, and sorting changes their order. These controls are enhancements: the full matrix is already present when the page is built. With JavaScript disabled, the complete table remains available to read and navigate.
Before using a pairing in a build, review its source and any stated conditions. A positive record is not a universal claim about every enclosure layout or every individual animal. A verification placeholder is also not a rejection of the pairing; it identifies a question this database has not yet resolved.

A shared biome does not establish compatibility in this tool. A separate sourced pairing is required.
No. The data records sharing and breeding as separate outcomes.
Yes. Every available pair is present in the generated HTML. Search and sorting are optional enhancements.
